Good Afternoon,

I just registered the enterprise version, and registered on the forums. All because I bought the Kindle Fire yesterday and plan on doing development on it :)

What are your experiences with developing for the Kindle Fire? That is the only android device I am developing for.

You are not developing for the android market then? Just creating apps for your own use?

I've read that Amazon has highly modified the Android OS. Please let us know how your Kindle development goes...and welcome!

Exactly, not developing for the android market, only the Kindle Fire :) I saw one thread (or maybe 2) on these forums concerning the using B4A for creating Kindle Fire applications. It seems like I might be only the 4th developer to do so on these forums :) Oh. I am definitely not creating the apps and games for my own use. It will be on the Kindle Fire store hosted by Amazon.

fun times! And thanks.

I just bought a Kindle Fire and am in the process of developing my app that works on a 320x480 device over onto my new Kindle.

Here is what is perplexing me:

'NOTE: if I set the below InputType, then I lose word-wrap, no matter what.
'EditText1.InputType = EditText1.INPUT_TYPE_NONE 'do not allow software keypad to appear
