B4J Question Hosting Java

Hello everyone,

I want to raise my ABMaterial webapp to a web hosting. At the moment, as it is for testing propose, I want to go to some free hosting java.

Here are my two questions:

What about you know any free Java to do some tests for at least 20 days?

What version of the JVM must run the hosting?

You need SSH access to host a B4J server. I don't think that you will find any free hosting service that will provide it.

You can use a local computer instead with a (free) dynamic dns service.

A while ago, Amazon Web Services was offering 1 year free of their smallest EC2 Instance. You might check to see if they're still offering that same deal. There are Windows Server images available, as well as various Linux-based images.

Hi Erel,

I feel my ignorance. But why SSH access is needed? Is not it enough to have to access with ftp?

FTP is not enough. You need to be able to start a new process. This requires SSH access.
