Android Question How do I increase log size in the IDE?

I need to increase size of the log in the IDE. Is this related somehow to the Developer options -> Logger buffer sizes in the phone? So if I increase it in the phone, it will show more in the IDE?

Or what would be the way to do this?

The ide limits the number of lines to 5000. It is currently not configurable.

The logs are read from the device logs so the device limit is also relevant.

Strange, my log got cut off at 4419 lines. Perhaps the 5000 includes unfiltered lines also?

(Device is set to 256K, and the 4419 lines used 178K.)

It is currently not configurable.

You can write the info to a file instead of putting LOG(...)

You can write the info to a file

or local to a sql lite db, you can open at pc with "db browser for sqllite" and filter with a query.
