In the Designer, how does AutoScaleAll work? I designed a layout, see below left, where the top of the bottom left (orange) panel is midway down the screen on a 1080x2340 device. This is where I want it to be and I think that I have anchored everything correctly. I expected that, on other devices, the panel would still occupy around 50% of the screen. However on a 1080x2400 device (not so very different) it occupies a much larger proportion. Here are the two screens side-by-side - . . .
I had expected that, if I created a layout that filled the variant outline and I anchored panels top and bottom, AutoScaleAll would preserve the relative panel sizes. I am clearly missing something. If you can straighten me out I would be very grateful. I attach a project containing the layout file. Note that there are some script entries that might be relevant.
