Android Question How i can create service always in background without notification

Hello, I have searched the forum but I have not found an example that makes me understand how I can create a hidden service that is running even when my application is closed (or opened) where I can call a web service and check some data, and only if my condition it is true to display a notification (with NB6), so without always having the notification of the service running in the background. Thanks

It will not work 100% on all devices.

You can use a transparent icon.

Ok, but when i CreateNotification...how i can hide notification when i click on notify popup?

You cannot have a foreground service without a notification.
