Android Question How to check for the latest app version from inside the app

Hello,
Is there is any way to check for the latest app version from inside the app?
The problem is when user open their existing app if the app version is different at play store, the app will force the user to upgrade the installed one at their device.

Is that possible?

Please advice.

But when I am attaching the library InAppUpdate.jar and InAppUpdate.xml, I am getting error as "Maven Artificat not found".
