Just getting the RSSI signal will only give you a 2D not very accurate location of the device. For an RTLS (Real Time Location System) you would need a thing called AoA and AoD (Angle of Arrival, Angle of Departure -
Link Here) - This is only available on Bluetooth 5+.
To explain 2D - what if you have a warehouse with items stacked on the 6th shelf from the floor - you will know that it is there - BUT not on what shelf it is and then also if your antenna design is not good - the RSSI will fluctuate all the time - please have a look at the links provided - it will give you a much better idea.
