Android Question How to prevent user from distributing our paid app?

Dear All,
Perhaps this question has already been answered, and I would like a link, in case.
How can we prevent user from distributing our paid app? Or my question is; can we copy and an apk file that we purchased from google to another phone? if it can be done, then how to prevent it?

Although that only applies to items downloaded from Google Play. Amazon applies it's own DRM.
