Hi,

I got my arduino uno board today. I want to order a esp8266 module too. But, I am confused with one question. I searched from the whole forum with keyword "esp8266" and could not get a clear answer. The question is:

How to wire esp8266 module to arduino board: should connect with rx/tx pins or gpio pins ?

The esp8266 library shipped with B4X supports which kind of connections: rx/tx or gpio ?

Any because there are many kinds of esp8266 modules in market, to save newbie's time please recommend a easly to use esp8266 module.

Thanks!

Hi Derez,

Thanks for your prompt reply. The Arduino UNO I ordered does not has esp8266 module on board. So, I have to order a esp8266 module and connect it to Arduino board.

Like I wrote above - the simple way is to use WEMOS D1 alone, it should be enough for most of the applications. You will not need additional hardware. It is like an arduino + wifi.
You have to be careful about the voltage levels.
