Hello, I want to install a software emulator instead of using my android device but in the AVD manager I cannot create a AVD. I think because HAXM is not installed. This I cannot install because Microsoft Hyper-V is needed and cannot be activated on my windows 10 Home edition
What am I doing wrong ?

thank you

Is the computer CPU an Intel CPU? If so then you should be able to install HAXM.

I don't recommend you to use the emulator as your main development device. It is slow and unreliable. Use a real device instead.

Hi Erel,

Have an AMD processor.... I'll be using my android device then... Can it be used with a USB cable or only over wifi ?
