Do you know that King tried to register a trademark in the US for the words "candy" and "saga"? And holds the "candy" trademark in Europe? Use this term in one of your game and you'll be sued. I don't know if I really live in the same world than these guys.

what i can tell you that you make much more money via advertising then selling (at least on android)

if you have an ios app maybe selling it will make you more profit i dont know

but it is possible !! forget selling apps try to make good apps and put some ads in it you will see how fast you will start make some $

If you really could earn $ 300/day with an app, Erel would earn 100 times more than with B4A.

I suppose they wanted the name. And when you're a big company, you try to inspire fear in little people with your lawyers. You don't really want to go before a judge (and in France, such a case has almost no chance to be won). Your goal is to push someone to abandon something that you want.
Moreover, I read that the band created a little game to promote their music. This game has nothing to do with the King's game, but King probably thought that was a solid reason to support their claim. And thus, they could inspire more fear.

And did you see why they dropped it? The real reason is that they didn't want to be engaged in a lawsuit while they announced they are going to enter the stock market. Despite that, they knew a "Candy Crash". And the stock is still far under its introduction price (-23%).

you need to enjoy it, money will come one day.

i think erel did the right choice by creating b4a. he could create lots of apps but he goes for the big things and also for something that is stable!

Create a developing platform is much more stable then apps.
everybody can copy a stupid app but not a work of 4-5 years it to much work !!

750 milion $, for a company that was only 3 years so the guy that creted this company made 750mil $ only by selling his company after 3 years he created the company and how many $ he made in this 3 years?? so he did at leat 1.000.000.000 from ads

i made until now more the 6k $ from my apps and 80% are from ads so its possible (all this in about 1.5 years)

i dont understand why you are so shoked if developing would make only 20$ in a month then why should people go for it??

why every day 100's new software house are created, why big companies sell great games for 1$?? or even for free? do you think the candy crash made only some $ from there games? and they gave it for free...

there are lots of money in this area, just start try and you will see.
make a good app give it for free some ads and tell us after 6 month your success story

I wrongly stating that a single programmer who develops apps will be lucky recover his own costs (costs in terms of time).

I'm wrong by saying that I do not think you can earn $ 300/day with an app (without a software house off your earnings by publishing its app).

I'm wrong when I see Erel work in a different industry.
