Android Question Icon display in status bar

I receive icons on status bar similar to a notification, even if no notification is fired within the app !
Do i have to update my app to new library, or make something to avoid this option <display in status bar> ?

If from notification open the settings of the app I see two options : 1 allow notifications 2 display in status bar

I do not remember to had this option in the past "DISPLAY IN STATUS BAR"
