Android Question If I forget my password can I use the keystore, anyways

I can't remember my password associated with the keystore. If I forget the password can I use the keystore, anyways without any detrimental affect?

i don't believe so, but I could be wrong.

Think about it, if you could, then why password it in the first place???

The IDE stores the password in the INI file. It is not possible to use the keystore without the password.
