If two layouts of same size but diff density specified will device pick correct one?

I am not sure of this answer so wanted to ask.

Given that two devices can have the same resolution but different densities if you specified two identical resolutions within the b4a designer but with different density scales would the device running the compiled app automatically identify the correct one to use?

Yes. The scale is a very important factor and is considered when loading the layout.
