You can use jExcel to load an Excel template file, fill the data and save it as an Excel workbook.

It may be useful, although you were looking for a "traditional" report generator, you pass a dataset and it shows the data sorted and grouped according to the report's design.

there is JasperReports, but i never used it.
Jaspersoft Studio seems to be a report designer.
and it have a JasperReports Server

i saw a lib for b4j here but not for b4a. maybe u can use the report server and send data from b4a app.
