Android Question Java and Windows XP

I searched the forum for this, didn't find anything relative. I hate asking stupid or already answered questions. But here we go...

The Java SE SDK webpage states the end of support for Java 7. The update wizard recommends I update to Java 8-31. Under the Java system requirements there is no support for Windows XP. Is this true? Must I give up WinXP to use B4A?

Thanks!

Thank you both for your responses.
I still develop and maintain some legacy apps in VB6 and Delphi 5 & 7. A lot of small businesses in Oklahoma aren't willing to dump their legacy apps and take the chance of some framework based new thing. Lots of horror stories here about developers that should be in some other type of work.
I rather use my XP machine for these legacy environments. I can move B4A to my Win 7 box.
Thank you Erel for creating a great environment for Android programming. Highly recommended!
