Android Question Java version 8 vs 11

Hi all.

I'm using IDE 1.50 with Java 8. Do I need to use Java 11? No problems so far, just asking.

No, they are functionally the same as far as B4A is concerned except if you want to compile a library using SLC then you must use Java 8 as BADoclet produces bad XML files with Java 11. I keep badgering Erel to fix this but he keeps kicking this particular can down the road.

In 99% of the cases there is no practical difference. I do recommend using Java 11 as it has advantages over Java 8 with B4J.
