I know it's recommended to have a service show a notification which can then launch an activity. But is it possible to have a service launch an activity directly? I want the service to make a panel show that has buttons on it. Thanks! :sign0104:
It depends. CallSubDelayed will only start the activity if there is another activity (of your app) visible. Otherwise the message will wait for the activity to be started.
