B4A 1.6 does not support different layout variants for home screen widgets.
If I create a variant for landscape B4A should generate an corresponding <widget>_layout.xml file in the layout-land folder.
If I create a "layout-land" folder manually and copy my layout from the "layout" folder to it B4A deletes the file in the "layout-land" folder but does not create a new one. I can create my xml file manually and set it read only. This works well. Luckily this manually created file then is packed into the apk too and I get my landscape layout. So for now I have a workaround.
