Android Question Merge and send two captured pictures

my employer asked me to design card scanner(ID card, driving license.. etc), which capable of capture both sides of card by mobile camera and store them as one image.
I have two problems,
1- how to merge the captured images, side by side or one above another.
2- send merged image to PC via USB or blue-tooth
any ideas?

Capture two images an draw on Canvas first image and just end draw second image, save as bitmap (only one file). You can crop or resize image.

Why bother merging them at capture time? Keep them as two separate images, and simply display them next to each other when viewing.
Less work, and easier to alter if future requirements change.

I want to save them as one image on SQL server, I have only one image-type column

My First Rule of any system design is to Keep All captured data discrete. Combined Data can be hard or impossible to return to its component data later, when the customer changes their requirements.
