Hi all.

I have a question.

My app was rejected by Google Play market.

This app was created about 4 years ago for the caregiver’s electronic visits verification.

The message says: Issue found: Inaccurate Health Apps Declaration

The Health Apps declaration form within Play Console that you have provided for your app is inaccurate.

Any app that accesses health data and/or offers health-related features must complete the Health Apps declaration form within Play Console. Your app has not met these requirements in accordance with the Health Content and Services policy.

Your current declaration does not match the functionalities that your app offers.

We have found that your app contains the following functionalities, which you must disclose:

Other: Explain additional features your app offer.

Since the app was first put on Google Play market about 4 years ago, we only add 2 additional features:

Taking notes about patient vital signs and if they’re out of the range send them to the patient’s primary physician.

Keeping the caregiver profile in compliance with the Insurance. Another words – if one of the documents on the profile is about to expire the app notifies the user so he can take a picture of the updated document and send to the office for updating his profile.

Is it what they says - declaration does not match the functionalities that your app offers?

A long time ago I filled out a Health app declaration form. This form is just a list of checkboxes that describe the categories that the app might belong to. For my app it’s only 1 - Healthcare services and management which I selected.

There is a category Other with a textbox that accepts 250 characters only. So do I need to describe the additional functionality such as vital signs and profile compliance in this “Other” boxes?

What is interesting the last app update that was approved was about 5 days ago – the update includes upgrade to the API 34. No questions asked.

Please help me to understand what we’re missing.

Please see a screenshot

Thank you.

Please post a screenshot of the other screen when you click on the purple "Heath Apps Declaration" link towards the bottom of the page.

The first thing I see so far is that the BOLD description seems like your app handles confidential patient info (ie. the patients home address), so maybe some privacy issue is happening here.

Thank you for your reply.

Please see these screens - it's a pretty long screen so I split it into 3 parts.

Under Other if I click on it it opens an empty textbox for 250 characters.

I would read the "visit the help center" link at the top of the first image to see what they say.
