Android Question Mysterious DateTime Error

Hey,

I have a Error in my big project.
The Code is:
Dim longi As Long
longi = DateTime.DateParse("01/01/2014")

and it is in a sub, which is called in Activity_Create.
I get a "java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "01/01/2014" (at offset 0)" Error

I tried already to type everything new in but there was no changing. Is this a bug?

Did you set the Dateformat ?

DateTime.DateFormat = "dd/MM/yyyy"
