NFC has me stumped

I have just started playng around with NFC tags. I can store an action on a tag to run a program or i can store some data but i cannot seem to do both. My intention is to run my program with the tag and then transfer some data from the tag to the program and display it in a label but i am obviously missing something critical. Is there a simple way to do this?

Have you set the manifest as described in the tutorial: http://www.b4x.com/forum/basic4andr...931-reading-ndef-data-nfc-tags.html#post84689

Once your program resumes (or starts) from the intent, you can do anything you like with the information passed.

I had added it but did it incorrectly. I forgot about the manifest editor:sign0137:

so i' am playing around with it now.
