Just thought I would update the forum on what I have noticed since the end of this thread https://www.b4x.com/android/forum/threads/nonsdkapiusedviolation.97687/#post-616444. The last post was that the Android emulator does not log 'NonSdkApiUsedViolation' messages such as:
the messages only appear if using a real device. This might be old news, since I haven't checked for several months, but the emulator is now logging the messages. I'm only seeing light grey messages so I think we are still safe.
I thought I would try to see how Android Q (beta) handled the non SDK API violations but I can't get the emulator to run the Q image.
