I have an older blue tooth ring UPC scanner I used in a custom project. I am trying to get around using the USB dongle and the project does not lend itself to using a phone. I would like to use a HC-05 or 06 for serial data into a MCU UART to reduce the overall size. I can get all the data from the scanner by pairing it with a desktop but run into a road block trying to use AT commands to link and bind it to a HC module.
