Android Question Qr reader does not activate when I use the camera

Hello, not long ago I managed to integrate a qr reader to my application, I had problems at first but thanks to this forum I managed to solve it But now I find another problem I have been trying to solve but knowledge in cameras and in B4A are not very broad, in fact hardly I've been learning about this great tool for a month.

My problem is when I activate the camera of the device to take a photo and then activate the qr reader, this simply remains blank, but if I activate the qr reader first I can use it, until I activate the camera again to take a photo and it is again is blank! I don't really understand why this happens, I guess it must be a compactness issue.

I am using the ACL library to take the photo, and to read qr I am using zxingBarcodeScanner.

Can somebody help me!

Why use an old, unmaintained and unofficial library?

Use CameraEx or Camera2.

I wanted something simpler, I already knew them, but it seems that easy is not always the best, there are some things that I still don't understand.

Are you referring to the scanner in this thread?

It is working when I start/stop the native device camera and after that the barcode scanner - and vice versa.

Not sure I understand what it is that you are having a problem with? Are you sure the camera has been stopped / released? Is there anything logged in the B4A log (filtered / unfiltered)?

I left the two libraries to start studying and understanding CameraEx, I don't know what was happening, but now I am working on something new, I appreciate your answer!

Ele está funcionando quando eu inicio / paro a câmera do dispositivo nativo e depois o leitor de código de barras - e vice-versa.

Não tenho certeza se entendi com o que você está tendo problemas? Tem certeza de que a câmera foi interrompida / liberada? Há algo registrado no log B4A (filtrado / não filtrado)?

Hi Jonah, I noticed that you help the community a lot when it comes to reading Codes, I even use one of the libraries you show in your Posts.

I would like to know if you can recommend me or if you have some way to select a specific type of BarCode, for example: A button that activates the camera and reads only EAN 8 or EAN 13, and so on.

What I'm using is in this Post Barcode Scanner - 100% embedded within B4A, and she reads all the types that are presented to her. The result appears even when the camera is on top of BarCode.

Do you have updates for that too ?!
