Hi There,
I am evaluating a project that may require the usage of Raspberry Pi and a cellular modem for wireless connectivity.
I know that it is possible to control the module using AT commands etc..., but I was wondering if there is a way for the OS to handle the module instead of having the application do that.
To be more precise, when we develop an app for an android phone using B4A, we never have to worry about the cell or Wifi connectivity ourselves, and at the same time all running applications can share the connection.
Can something like this be achieved? and if so, can anyone recommend a reliable wireless module preferably 3G/LTE to be used with Raspberry PI ?
Thanks
