This project is created this components:

• Raspberry PI 2 + 2 Relay Module
• B4A to send signals to Raspberry
• Sofa with motor
• Node Red to reception the signal and send to Raspberry GPIO

now this is a coincidense.

yesterday I had the exact same idea for my mothers new relax sofa.

are the relays really needed?

I thought I could bypass the buttons while those are on a 5 or 12V circuit. The motor might be on a 220V circuit?

Hello Sorex,

In my case yes, because my sofa is already created with a 29vcc motor. I just simulate the two push buttons with the relays.

Its easy, once you understand the GPIO ports and connect those relay mode.
