Hi @Cableguy!

I already tried turning off the laptop and starting an IDE session. It does detect the phone on the Wi-Fi network with its name and IP address, and it even detects if I press the "STOP" or "START" button in the "Bridge" app... but when I try to connect... it keeps disconnecting.

A few minutes ago, I did a complete clean install on another laptop with genuine Windows 11... and it does exactly the same thing!

I'll try to get back to some projects I have (still running today)...but they need improvements, and I also have the possibility of developing new applications. I've always liked B4X; it follows my programming logic and is very powerful...but obviously, I started with a very basic stumbling block. I hope I can get the "Bridge" working, which is essential for development.

I do not debug over WIFI, I debug 100% over USB using B4A Bridge. This has way less issues for me, and seems faster (Also makes it easier for testing airplane mode/no-connection).

If you enable developer mode, and USB debugging, B4A should connect via USB

I already tried that. I configured Developer Mode and enabled USB debugging... but nothing changed, it's still the same: B4A sees it, detects its IP address, but when I connect... it just keeps connecting and disconnecting.

I remembered an old phone I had stored away (TCL 671E) that I used 3 years ago, and voila! It worked perfectly when I activated the "Bridge." Clearly, there's some "issue" with the Xiaomi Poco X7 Pro and its Android 16 version that's blocking it. It would be interesting if a colleague could test it with a phone/Android 16 version to see what might be happening...

The pleasure is all mine! It's so great to hear from you! You've helped me so many times! (And you have a great memory!) I'm still teaching, but I've started the retirement process. At my company, I have a lot of work, and now I want to add mobile apps. I hope I can make a lot of progress. The project I started with your help and that of several forum members is still active, and it's precisely the one I want to continue and improve. We'll see how I get up to speed with all the new developments. I see that AI is everywhere. I'm already using AI with my desktop systems. I hope it will also help me with B4A.
