iOS Question Re-issue certificates

Just now I use the sertificates, which expire in December 22-23. A company already paid per next year two weeks ago.
So I have a possibility (but not a wish) to make the certificates which will expire at the end of 2021.

I plan to post a new release in nearest week and do not plan to change something at least up to March, 2021. Which problems could be after December, 22-23 ?

If the app is available on the app store, an expiring certificate won't cause any problems. You'll have to renew the certifcate for updates after the expiry date, though.

APN (for pushes) do not 'expire' also ? Strange that Apple does not prolong certificates automatically.

APN certificates do expire and you'll have to renew them every year.

If anyone becomes involved in writing for an Apple Developer Enterprise Program you will find that the certificates expire at the end of the annual subscription. In keeping with Apple's grip on the world..... at that point any company applications in service will die. Apps need to be re-compiled and distributed over the corporate MDM infrastructure with new certificates before that date otherwise app-dependant productivity comes to a halt and you become instantly unpopular !
