Read text in PDF

Hi everyone!
I wish to know the method to search for a specific word in a page from a PDF file ?!
by an external application or by using the library PDFViewer?, whatever...
I am lost ... please ...

An external application will not help.

I do not know whether PDFViewer library supports searching (or text extraction).
