Wish Removal of ComboBox (Compilation Mode)?

I was just wondering is there a reason why the 'Compilation Mode' ComboBox is still visible even though it only has 'Release' as an option and nothing else can be selected?

Even just hiding the Compilation Mode (Visible = False) in VS C++ would be nice.
