Wish Repeatedly desirable IDE versions for macOS!

I have seen many times this wish but I need to tell something:
Some days ago, I found that Microsoft has built its VSCode editor for cross-platform, so I can use it with my Mac!

Is there any hope to see the best IDE for all platforms working with macOS in order to get rid of virtual machine environments like Parallels, VirtualBox e.t.c.?

There is no doubt that it will be great to have a cross platform IDE. I don't see it happening in the near future. Sorry.
