Android Question Restart main activity from service

Hi,
I am working on a Samsung tablet (Galaxytab active3 running Android 11-13). I have one main activity and a service (Service.AUTOMATIC_FOREGROUND_ALWAYS). Service listen continuously to UDP messages and Main is paused to save battery. When a particular message is received service speaks something but I cannot resume the Activity and the screen remains black.
On a Blackview tablet running Android 11 the same app resumes Activity and turns screen ON.
Service simply make a "callsubdelayed" to a main sub which displays received message.

I can't understand.
