B4R Question SD card shield/module CS connection

Hello,
I tried this example with ethrnet/sd card shield, it worked ok. i tried it with catalex sd card module connected to same ICSP port, it did not work unless i removed CS pin from port and connected it to pin 4(Arduino) or tied to GND. just want to know what is the difference.
