Android Question Searchview Class - How to RemoveView?

The class provides for AddtoParent... How do I remove the searchview from its parent as I would with a listview (ListView.RemoveView)?

Public Sub RemoveView
   lv.RemoveView
   et.RemoveView
End Sub
