I want to make an application for home use

I want to use an 10 ich or 7 inch android tablet

1. show incomming sms message on screen depending on contents of message

Is this possible with service or without service module?

Intercepting the new SMS message event is not yet possible.
You can use a Service to check every minute if there are any new messages with a PhoneSMS object.
