Fantastic product you have with basic4android, nice job.

Did a quick test using SmsIntercept to receive text messages tonight.

Question:

Is there a way to prevent a message from showing up in the default SMS application in Android when you intercept it with a b4a application?

It is not possible to prevent the message from reaching other application. If I remember correctly it is a limitation of the OS.

Ah, thanks Erel. Maybe there is a way to remove stored SMS messages from the default inbox after receipt? That might work too.

For now you can only read the stored messages. Deletion of messages will be added in the future.

Hi, any update on this feature? It's one I really could do with as I'm using SMS to send raw data to an app and it is meaningless in the inbox.
