Android Question SMTP blocked by Google

I am using StartTLSMode = true, port 587.
If I use my old gmail account at SMTP initialize, everything works.
If I use a recently created gmail, my app is blocked from signing in.

Is yahoo email the way to go ?
Is it still port 587 for yahoo ?

I found an old thread on this topic, just wondering if there is any 'trick' to prevent Google from blocking sign-in.

Have you enabled access to "less secured apps": https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6010255?hl=en ?
