Games something is wrong on the Play Store

My downloads have dropped 80% over the last two days, with a similar drop in ad revenue. There is clearly something wrong. I've found similar threads over the last few days on Reddit of people complaining of the same thing.

The best answer right now is that Google are messing with the "similar apps" algorithm, as when I check my Invaders game, none of the similar apps are arcade shooters, which is strange as they normally would be. Most game downloads for small devs come from the similar apps section unless they have big advertising budgets.

Has anyone else here noticed this? Computersmith??? How about you?

I don't know how the similar > seem more looked before but it seems partially correct exept for all these bubble shooter cheaters.

I've been chatting with other game devs all morning, there's a huge problem right now and it appears it's the similar apps section that's broken. Devs are seeing up to 90% drops in downloads over the last few days. Hopefully Google will fix this quickly.
