B4R Question SPP profile (COM-port) in BLE connection

Is it correct requirement to the system ?
If requested to be BLE v.4.1+, but ... COM-port is required to read the sensor data.

But SPP profile is a part of classic BT v.4-

SPP has nothing to do with BLE.
