Hello.
Files folder, plus a database file was created.
When running the database information is displayed on the list.
And insert, update, if there are visible in the emulator ...
Do not remain on the database files.

I wonder why?

You cannot update a database which is stored in the assets folder (the IDE Files tab).
It is readonly. You should copy the database to the sd card: File.DirRootExternal.

An example

Here is my first attempt at sqllite in android, it checks for the db file on SD card if not there it copies it from the files folder and from then on uses the sd card version of the db file. This allows you to supply a db already loaded with data if needs be.

It may be worth repeating here that this does not appear to work if the "db already loaded with data" is more than about 5MB, in which case the db must be downloaded or otherwise copied over to a device apart from the apk.
