Android Question SQLite name.db3.back

Hi there,

does anyone know when a name.db3.back is created?

It is in addition to my name.db3 in the same folder
\ android \ data \ com.combera.name

Never seen such a file. Are you sure that it is not your app that creates this file?

Could already be. We have about 20 Galaxy Note 2 in use. Then a very complex program runs at a db3 with 32 tables. After some users have updated the OS from 4.1.2 to 4.3, the crashes pile up. Some devices name.db3.back does not exist.

I should better write that the name.db3.back is not created by a program code. I have written the part itself. Since the users are spread all over Germany, I can not check when the name.db3.back also arises.
