This link https://donneyfan.com/blog/usb-serial-for-blue-pill-stm32-with-platformio describes how to flash applicatios to STM32 directly using its usb port. I followed and succedded with arduino IDE using an upload method called "stm32duino bootloader" but this method does not appear as an option in b4r.
