A new version of my Simple WiFi library is available HERE It "SHOULD" correctly return the MAC address of the host device now on Marshmallow. I do not own an API 23 device so please try it and let me know. I also added a couple of permissions required by API 23 and a new getAPI method that returns the current Android version running on the device.
