I was about to do a @barx and correct you .. Cars have Tyres .. until I realized you are correct ,location wise.

But that still is a scary admission Beja.

It was the rare tire (left rare)

As long as the result wasn't like this, you should be OK.



Seen this a time or two at our shop... customer says: "I put new brakes on and it still makes noise!"

The brake pad is installed backwards, so the steel backing plate is contacting the rotor.
Would make an awful grinding sound.
