iOS Question Total confusion with Apple iStore procedures

I have followed numerous questions and tutorials in these forums, but have hit a brick wall when trying to submit my first B4i app to the istore.

I get the following error when submitting using the iTunes Connect Uploader;

NSLocalizedDescription=No suitable application records were found. Verify your bundle identifier 'com.motosamoa.radcalc' is correct., NSLocalizedFailureReason=App Store operation failed.}"
)

i have com.motosamoa.radcalc set in my build configuration and also referenced it when creating an App ID identifier on the developer portal.

Any help is much appreciated.
