Android Question USB GPS External Dongle(GPS/GLONASS U-blox7)

Hi Guys
I have this dongle need some one to guide me how to use it in order to sync time to my app through it.
im using anderiod TVBox with USB port.

There is no Internet that's why I need it

Is the TV with you, or someplace else?

Is there a problem with the TV losing time after you set it?

Are the daylight savings changeovers causing a problem?

Have you approached U-blox? I only have experience with using ancient Garmin devices, back in NMEA 0183 days. But I see ublox is easily Googled and has some support potential. For instance portal.u-blox.com/ shows "USB GPS Ublox7 device detection/usage on android 4 tablet"

I remember NMEA 0183 was OK to work with, it was the Garmin protocol that was horrible. I don't know NMEA 2000 at all...

Almost certainly this will appear as a standard serial port on which NMEA protocol messages will be transmitted at 10Hz (I believe on this device).

The NMEA message you want to decode is GGA.

Almost certainly there will also be free configuration software available from the UBlox site.

I haven't watched this but it should give you some idea of what might be involved...
