Android Question Using AdditionnalRes for translating applications

Hi,

Can #AdditionalRes be used into internationalized applications with many files strings.xml into different folders res/values, res/values-fr, res/values-de, ... and to get the translated value when getting the name of the string into the xml files (depending of the language of the phone) ?

In the same way, is it possible to automaticaly get the adapted icon into the drawable-(something)dpi folders ?

#AdditionalRes allows you to define another folder that will be used as a resource folder. The advantage of the added folder is that you don't need to set the files to be read-only.

I'm localizing a b4a project at the moment and making use of the AdditionalRes attribute.
I've created a string resources xml file and used AdditionalRes to add it to the project.
Then when i require a localized string i have a wrapper for the android Resources class that fetches the string from the resources based on the device's currently selected language setting.

There's a post HERE that may help.
It uses my AndroidResources library.
And my post HERE mentions the new Resources class wrapper library, which i have not yet uploaded to the forum.
As i said in that last post, if anyone is interested in the Resources wrapper then i'll upload it.
