Android Question WEAR OS KEEPALIVE

Hi,
I made an app and I need to keep always in foreground.
I need to keep the screen always on.
I use keepalive without success, the screen goes off (on log I receive "no wakelock" as message).

I had a similar issue, and kept the app alive for a couple of minutes by re-triggering the keepalive, but what I found was the watch could not sustain the screen for many hours without being connected to it's charger. But then it overheated. Perhaps the newer devices have lower power screens and we need to revisit this?
